It's now been exactly one year since I've joined DA, I think that deserves cake -->

Thank you so much for your support, comments and favs, I really appreciate them! A lot has happened in 2008, I can only hope 2009 will be just as surprising and eventful, here's to another great year!

I'll also take this opportunity to update you guys on my University course: I dropped out. The course wasn't what I thought it was, and I wasn't enjoying myself there either. Still, it was fun sleeping on my brothers tiny floor for a month XD. So whats next? Well, I'm working on a portfolio so that I may apply for the Edinburgh College of Art, which is where I've always wanted to go. Wish me luck! (God knows I'll need it...)

My brand-spanking new Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop has finally arrived! No more clunky Windows XP for me, hello super-sleek Vista! Finally, I can run programs such as iTunes and PhotoShop without being dragged down by slow processing speeds and low RAM. I completely filled my old desktop with music (like, completely full, I could'nt even download one song!), but now I have a hugely liberating 220GB to play with: more music, more movies, more art!

University is just around the corner (oh God...), got to get prepared for that!

...I've passed my driving test! After just 27 hours worth of driving lessons and virtually no driving in my own time, I passed first time! 9 minor faults ain't too bad, but I'm just glad I got through. My first car is a Peugeot 106, not brilliant but hopefully, I might get a chance to drive my dad's Citroen 2CV. Now that would be awesome, seeing as it is kitted out so that it can transverse the Sahara desert (true!). So now you know that if I haven't posted any artwork in a while, it's probably because is ran into the back of a Land Rover or flipped the car after taking a corner at 50...

That's it! I have officially left school after 13 long years! Exam Leave starts now and then it's off to University! I've stayed on until the very last year, which has been an absolute blast. Of course being the last day, we simply HAD to play a few pranks, here's a list:

- Glued playing cards onto the Common Room table
- Glued the table to the floor
- Glued pennies to the Social Space floor, walls and ceiling
- Brought in Super Soakers and had a water fight
- Played a game of Sardines (kinda like hide-and-seek over the whole school)
- Someone brought in their bagpipes and blasted out a tune (while there was an exam taking place)
- Covered the stairs in toilet paper
- Sprayed the laminated floors with furniture polish to make them really slippery

And the highlight of the day:

- Someone bought a real live chicken, smuggled it into school and placed it into the Staff Room. (We decided to call it Franky Ormanstein).

It was an amazing day and we all really enjoyed ourselves. But it's not over yet! We're off to a party on the beach tonight, and then the 20th June is the school Prom which will be the very last time our year will be all together. But first I have to get my Maths, Graphic Communication, and Product Design exams over and done with, so I won't be doing much in the form of artwork for a while...

As for university, I have an unconditional offer to study Interactive Media Design at Napier University in Edinburgh. Can't wait!

Yaaaaay, it's my 18th birthday today!

Gonna go out to spend the night in town with my friends, can't wait! Seeing as it is my 18th, you can probably guess what we're going to be up to...
